From November 12 to 29, 2024, the Middle East Technical University Confucius Institute successfully organized the "International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship" lecture. Umut Berkay Yıldız (Chinese name: Bai Kai), a master's student in International Chinese Education at Xiamen University, delivered presentations at the Confucius Institute of Middle East Technical University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, and Ankara University.

In this lecture, Bai Kai provided a detailed explanation in Turkish about the scholarship categories, funding details, application procedures, and key considerations. He also shared his experiences studying and living at Xiamen University. During this lecture, students actively asked questions and engaged in lively discussions. Bai Kai patiently answered their inquiries, earning widespread praise. Many students expressed that the event gave them a clearer understanding of the scholarship policies and study-abroad plans, fueling their aspirations to pursue further studies in China.

The lecture not only enhanced Turkish students' understanding of the scholarship program but also strengthened collaboration between the Middle East Technical University Confucius Institute and universities in Ankara. It contributed significantly to promoting Chinese education and fostering educational and cultural exchanges between China and Turkey.
