1.2021年2月1日，在2021年牛年新春佳节来临之际，中国驻土耳其大使馆为中东技术大学孔子学院中方教师送来充满爱心的"新春礼包"（防疫物资、新春贺卡、小礼品等）。

On February 1, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Turkey sent a caring "New Year Gift Pack" (pandemic prevention materials, New Year greeting cards, gifts, etc.) to the Chinese teachers of METU Confucius Institute.

2.2021年2月1日至5日期间，在2021中国牛年新春佳节来临之际，为让土耳其汉语学生们感受体验中国春节的文化魅力，中东技术大学孔子学院的汉语教师们通过在线讲座、在线课堂讨论等形式，利用丰富的网络资源，向近200名学生介绍了中国春节的传统和习俗，活动受到了学生们的热烈欢迎与喜爱。

On February 1-5, 2021, as the Chinese New Year approached in 2021, the teachers of METU Confucius Institute introduced the traditions and customs of the Chinese Spring Festival to nearly 200 students through online lectures, online classroom discussions and other forms. The activities were popular among the students.

3.2021年7月7日，第二十届"汉语桥"世界大学生中文比赛土耳其赛区决赛以在线直播形式成功举办。中国驻土耳其大使刘少宾出席开幕式并致辞，中东技术大学孔院中文教师刘璐担任此次比赛的评委。

On July 7, 2021, the Turkish final of the 20th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students in Turkey was successfully held in the form of online live broadcast. Chinese Ambassador to Turkey Liu Shaobin attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Liu Lu, a Chinese teacher from the Confucius Institute at the Middle East Technical University, served as the judge of the competition.

4.2021年，中东技术大学2020-2021学年春季学期于3月开学，孔院向校内本科生和研究生开设CHN201、CHN202、CHN203、CHN204共四个级别的汉语课程，其中一级CHN201四个班、二级CHN202两个班、三级CHN203和四级CHN204各1个班，选课学生近200人。10月秋季学期开学，中文课程的报名持续火热。但因为目前师资紧张，该学期孔院只设置了2个级别、3个班级，总报名人数达70名。

In March, 2021, the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year of the Middle East Technical University began. METU CI offered four levels of Chinese courses (CHN201, CHN202, CHN203, and CHN204) to undergraduates and graduate students, including four classes for Level 1 CHN201 and two classes for Level 2 CHN202. There is one class for Level 3 CHN203 and one class for Level 4 CHN204. Nearly 200 students enrolled these courses. In October, the 2021-2022 academic year fall semester of the Middle East Technical University started. METU CI's Chinese course registration rate was extremely high. However, due to shortage of teachers, METU CI offered only 3 classes of two levels, and the students who registered for the courses reached 70.

5.2021年11月30日，土耳其中东技术大学副校长迈赫迈特（Mehmet T. Zeyrek）教授在校长办公楼接见了中东技术大学孔子学院新任中方院长吴天喜和外方院长希琳教授，并进行了座谈，共同商讨孔院未来发展事宜及未来两校扩大相关领域的学术交流和合作。

On November 30, 2021, Chinese Director, Wu Tianxi was invited to meet with Prof. Dr. Mehmet T. ZEYREK, Vice President of Middle East Technical University and Prof. Dr. Dürdane Şirin Saraçoğlu, the foreign Director of METU Confucius Institute, to discuss the development of the Confucius Institute in future.

6.2021年12月9日，土耳其国家电视台新闻频道的新闻报道介绍了土耳其中东技术大学孔院支持的安卡拉艾冉哲中学高中部孔子课堂的建设情况，2019年中国驻土耳其大使馆给该校捐建了一个全新中文语言教室，促进中土青年文化之间的交流。

On December 9, 2021, the news report of TRT (Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu) Haber introduced the construction of the Confucius Classroom at Ayranci High School of Ankara (Ayrancı Anadolu Lisesi, Ankara), supported by the Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University in Turkey. In 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Turkey donated a new Chinese language classroom to the school, to promote cultural exchanges between Chinese and Turkish young generations.
