Ι. HSK-2 Intensive Course

3. Please note:

(1) Only students who will take the Internet-based HSK-2 Test at Home on May 20, 2023 can participate in the "HSK-2 Intensive Course".

(2) Because the Internet-based HSK-2 Test at Home on May 20, 2023 is approaching, Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University provides the "HSK-2 Intensive Course", but this course will no longer be offered before the test in the future.

(3) Please kindly join the WhatsApp group (https://chat.whatsapp.com/GUOVPFnLnYoI4MEnOeWEps). Follow-up learning materials, test notices, HSK-2 test sample papers and so on will all be notified in this group.

ΙΙ. Internet-based HSK-2 Test at Home

1. Exam Date: 09:00 a.m. on 20 May 2023

2. Exam Form: Internet-based HSK-2 Test at Home

3. Registration Deadline: 23:59 on 1 May 2023

4. How to Register for the HSK-2 Test:

(1) Online registration: Please log in the the website of Chinese Testing International (www.chinesetest.cn) to fill in the registration form.

(2) Pay the Registration Fee of the HSK-2 Test. (Read "5. Registration Fee" and "6. Bank Account Info." for details.)

(3) Please send your examination fee receipt and formal ID Photo to the e-mail address of METU CI (metuci@metu.edu.tr) with the subject of "Name, Surname, ID/Passport Number, HSK-2 Test".

5. Registration Fee: 1196 TL for the HSK-2 Test.

6. Bank Account Info.:

(All the registration fees will be transferred to Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. after the tests.)

7. Please note:

(1) On 20 May 2023, the METU CI Test Center will only provide the HSK-2 Test.

(2) Please kindly join the WhatsApp group (https://chat.whatsapp.com/GUOVPFnLnYoI4MEnOeWEps). Follow-up test notices, the mock exam (tentatively scheduled for 09:00 a.m. on May 13, 2023), examination arrangements and other information will be notified in this group.

(3) The HSK test results are valid for two years (from the date of the exam).

Ⅲ. 2023 "Chinese Bridge" Summer Camp for Foreign Students

1. Dates: 14 days within July 15 to July 31, 2023.

2. Number of participants: A minimum of 20 students, a maximum of 40 students.

3. Please note:

(1) Passing the HSK-2 test is one of the necessary requirements for registering for the summer camp. Without a HSK-2 certificate, students cannot participate in the selection of the summer camp. Finally, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of Xiamen University will decide the final namelist of the summer camp according to the comprehensive consideration of applicants' majors, grades and financial budget.

(2) Whether the summer camp can formed or not is finally decided by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of Xiamen University, according to the number of applicants who meet the registration requirements, the funds and other factors. Therefore, there is a risk that it will not be able to form a group of summer camp from July 15 to July 31, 2023.

(3) Please do not buy international flight tickets until Xiamen University finally approves the group. Please wait for the notice when you can buy tickets.

(4) If this summer camp cannot be formed, the Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University will reapply for another summer camp, such as the winter vacation or 2024 summer vacation.

(5) The HSK test results are valid for two years (from the date of the exam). As long as your HSK-2 certificate is within the validity period, you can apply for the summer camp at any time.

In case of any ambiguity among the Chinese, English and Turkish versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
