Welcome to Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University！
Founded on November 28, 2008, Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University (METU CI) is the first Confucius Institute established in Türkiye. Jointly operated by Middle East Technical University and Xiamen University of China, and supported by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China and the Chinese Embassy in Türkiye, it is a non‑profit public institution committed to promoting Chinese language and culture. The institute has one Turkish director, one Chinese director and three Chinese teachers.
